The home improve­ment indus­try has proved to be resilient over time, includ­ing dur­ing the chal­leng­ing ear­ly years of the pan­dem­ic. Total project spend­ing spiked in 2021. In 2023, the mar­ket is eas­ing but project activ­i­ty is still above his­toric levels.
